We regularly hold events and tournaments for fighters and their families!
Weapons Build Day
When: Saturday, April 27th, Noon to 3:00 pm
Where: Iron Mill Church, 2 Church Hill Rd, Danville, PA 17821
Cost: Cost varies depending on what you wish to craft. RSVP and prepay by March 23rd. If you would like to participate but missed the deadline, email us at stronghold.swordfighting@gmail.com and ask to be put on our waitlist. If Qwon has enough materials, we will email you back and send an invoice.
Youth are invited to join our foam swordsmith, Sir Qwon, in building their own swords, shields, and other types of weapons. This is an excellent opportunity. Sir Qwon will have the materials ready to assemble. He will demonstrate and give you the steps to craft. You can double-check with Qwon between steps to make sure you are doing it right.
Family Troll Ball Tournament
When: Saturday, May 4th, 1 - 4 pm
Where: Iron Mill Church, Danville, PA
Cost: $5
Ages 9 & up (including adults) are invited to sign up in teams of five players or more for a Troll Ball tournament! Teams carry, throw, and pass a ball to score it in the opposing team's basket. Both teams are armed with swords and shields and play by Stronghold game rules.
Five members are needed for a team. You may have up to eight people on your team, but only four team members are allowed on the field at a time (extra stand on the sidelines to spawn in when one of your teammates are tagged out) . If you do not have enough players for a team, contact us.
Limits:
You are limited to only two Round Table members (knights, squires, ladies) per team.
You are limited to only allowed two adults per team.
Stronghold Battle
When: Saturday, May 25th, 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Where: Briar Creek Lake Park, Berwick PA
Cost: This event is free for participants signed up for the season. Guest participants will need a guardian to fill out waivers and pay $10 to participate. Guests need to show up 20 minutes ahead of the event so we can review our rules and safety conduct.
Join us for an epic multi-club battle! We will play team battles including classics like Monarch Battles and capture the flag.
This event is dependent on good weather. Please check Facebook or email/text Sir Estivan in the morning for cancelation information if there is persistent rainy weather.
Stronghold Summer Kick-Off Battle
When: Saturday, June 8th, 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Where: Briar Creek Lake Park, Berwick PA

Stronghold Summer Day Camps
In the summer of 2024, we will continue to have the joy of running sword-fighting half-day camps. These camps include daily devotionals and Bible study, foam weaponry skill-building, and fun games!
If your church is interested in having a half-day camp program in your area, contact us to see what we can arrange! Then grab a friend and join us for epic games, foam weapon instruction, and learning how to serve Christ and others.
